Truth
The foundation that shapes everything I create
Identity
Foundation
As a Korean-American Christian, my faith isn't just a part of my life—it's the lens through which I see everything. Growing up between two cultures taught me that identity isn't about choosing sides, but about finding truth that transcends cultural boundaries.
My physical differences and cultural experiences have shown me that our worth doesn't come from what the world sees, but from being fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator. This shapes how I approach technology, relationships, and my calling as a developer.
Guiding Light
Verses that shape my perspective
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future."
— Jeremiah 29:11
This verse reminds me that my path in technology and life has purpose, even when I can't see the full picture.
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
— Psalm 139:14
This truth transformed how I see my differences—not as limitations, but as part of God's wonderful design.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
— Colossians 3:17
Every line of code I write, every project I build, is an act of worship and service.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
— Proverbs 3:5-6
In a field that changes rapidly, this verse keeps me grounded in what never changes.
How Faith Shapes My Work
Principles that guide my development
Purpose-Driven Development
I don't just build applications—I create tools that serve others, solve real problems, and reflect the creativity of our Creator.
Integrity in Code
Clean, honest code that does what it promises. No shortcuts that compromise quality or ethics.
Servant Leadership
Using my skills to lift others up, mentor fellow developers, and contribute to projects that make a positive impact.
Eternal Perspective
Building with excellence because my work is ultimately for God's glory, not just human approval.
Korean-American & Christian
Growing up Korean-American taught me to navigate between worlds—honoring my heritage while embracing my American identity. Similarly, being a Christian in tech means bridging faith and innovation, ancient wisdom and cutting-edge technology.
The Korean concept of "jeong" (정)—deep emotional connections and loyalty—aligns beautifully with Christian love and community. This influences how I approach teamwork, mentorship, and building lasting relationships in the tech industry.
My physical differences have been a gift, teaching me resilience and empathy. They've shown me that God uses our perceived weaknesses as strengths, and that diversity in all forms—cultural, physical, and spiritual—makes our teams and communities stronger.

The Ultimate Truth
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
— John 14:6
This is why I put God first. Not because it's easy or popular, but because it's true. In a world of changing technologies and shifting values, Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
